Old Rock (is not boring)
Students in grades K-3 have been reading the book Old Rock (is not boring) by Deb Pilutti
After the story, the students in K/1 used the Draw and Tell app to create a picture of Old Rock on his next adventure.
They then recorded their voice describing what Old Rock was doing!
Students in grades 2 and 3 used the pic collage app to show why Old Rock is not boring!

Rockets!
Over the past couple of weeks, many classes have been making paper rockets. The students are constructing their rocket out of card stock and masking tape and then heading outside to launch them and see how far they fly! This has been such a fun activity, especially with all the sunshine we have had lately!

Division 1 designed key chains using Tinkercad and have been printing them on the 3D printer this week.

Pigeon Stories!
Before the break, the students in divisions 10 and 11 created their own pigeon stories based on the books written by Mo Willems. They used the Book Creator app and created some creative and funny versions of Mo Willems beloved pigeon stories.

3D Printing to help provide PPE
Division 1 has been busy running our 3D printer each day to produce visor clips used for Personal Protective Equipment for doctors and nurses all over the world!
