Surrey Book Of The Year

WHAT IS THE SURREY BOOK OF THE YEAR PROGRAM?

Each year, 10 recently published books are nominated in each of the following categories:

BOOK OF THE YEAR (CHAPTER BOOK)
PICTURE BOOK OF THE YEAR
NARRATIVE NON-FICTION BOOK OF THE YEAR

After reading, students vote for their favourite book in each category. Votes are tallied for the entire Surrey School District in May of each year and the winning titles receive an award sticker for their cover!
